Did you know you can make your own natural and much healthier preservative and additive free chocolate without hidden ingredients in under minutes? Not only is it fun, but I promise you will never want to buy chocolate again.

The great thing about this authentic raw chocolate is that it’s so pure and concentrated that you’ll find yourself satisfied with just one piece of chocolate. It actually curves down your sugar cravings.

Here’s what you will need:

Chocolate
140g (⅔ cup) raw cacao butter
80g (⅓ cup) raw cashew butter/paste
6 tbsp xylitol crystals
6 tbsp raw cacao powder
6 tbsp yacon syrup (maple or honey will work if you’re not concerned about it being truly raw)
2 tsp alcohol free vanilla extract (vanilla extract with alcohol can be used though it is not raw)
2 pinches of pink himalayan sea salt

Filling (optional)
e.g raw walnuts halves roughly chopped

Make Your Own Valentine's Day Chocolate

The main ingredients needed: Raw Cacao butter, Raw Cacao Powder, Sea Salt oe Himalayan Pink Salt, Vanilla essence and sweeterners eg. xylitol, agave, honey or maple syrup.

Create a ' Bain-marie' aka hot water bath. I simply used a big Wok pan and a heat resistant bowl. If you are using xylitol, put that first as you don't want to end up with a grainy chocolate. Once that's melted put in all the rest of the ingredients.

Once it's melted into a nice liquid, pour the chocolate into a heat resistant mold. Feel free to add fillings of your liking. I went for some chopped goji berries and cashews
